Terms of Service

By using MiddleFind ("the Service"), operated from middlefind.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What MiddleFind is

MiddleFind helps groups find a fair meeting spot between two or more addresses. You can use it anonymously or sign in with a MiddleFind account (powered by Clerk).

2. Free vs. Pro

Creating and joining group meetups is free and unlimited. Saving your trip history and using the Solo Trip Planner require a Pro subscription:

• Pro Monthly: $4.99 USD per month, billed every month, until cancelled.
• Pro Annual: $32.95 USD per year, billed every year, until cancelled.

3. Billing, renewal, and cancellation

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. You can cancel any time from the Billing Portal — open it from the Manage Plan button on the Trips page. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues through the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't pro-rate or automatically refund unused time.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store your card details. Stripe sends an email receipt for every successful charge.

4. Refunds

If you're charged in error or aren't happy with Pro, email support@middlefind.com within 14 days of the charge and we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape or abuse the Service, harass or dox other users, resell or repackage the Service without permission, or attempt to bypass paywalls and rate limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to addresses, names, votes, and reactions you submit. You grant MiddleFind a license to store and display this content to you and the other members of any group you share a link with, solely to operate the Service. We do not sell your data.

7. Account deletion

You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@middlefind.com. Active subscriptions should be cancelled first via the Billing Portal.

8. Service "as is"

MiddleFind is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that meeting points, travel times, or venue suggestions are accurate, complete, or available — they're computed from third-party data (OpenStreetMap, OSRM) that can be incorrect or out of date.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, MiddleFind's total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
